Ghorar Dim Studios:

Ghorar Dim (“Horse Eggs”) Studios is a multidisciplinary creative lab and start-up based in Dhaka Bangladesh, exploring the fascinating intersection of art, media and technology. The term Ghorar Dim – Bangla for horse eggs – is a metaphor for the impossible and the absurd and thus, our space is where imagination breaks open to become a playground for science and technology through experimental storytelling mediums.

Working with cartoon physics, experimental storytelling, science, and technology, the studio designs narrative experiences across animation, product design, and speculative media. Through technological play and unconventional methods, Ghorar Dim treats storytelling as research and design as a way of thinking.

Founded by Saiq’a Chowdhury, Founder & Lead Artist/Designer, whose background spans animation, design, and technology, the studio brings together artists, scientists, makers and technologists to build curious systems, strange worlds, and meaningful experiences. Her practice engages art as a research science.
